Great National Hotels has been very busy over the last couple of months and we want to share with you all our news! We have expanded our team, hotels are signing up to Revanista for better results, students from Chadderton and Galway visited us in HQ and the Digital Team have launched two new websites.

New Employees

Our company is continuously growing in achieving its highest level. It is always an exciting time to bring new employees on board. We would like to introduce you to our new team members.

• Martin O’Mara has joined us as a Reservations Agent in the CRO department.
• Stephane Klemenci has joined us as Senior Software Developer on the Revanista project.
• Leonard Reidy has joined us as Front-End Developer on the Revanista project.
• Elijah Williams has joined us as Online Distribution Agent in the Updates Team.
• David Monaghan has joined us our SEO Specialist in the Digital Marketing Department.

School Visits

Back in January we were delighted to welcome the students from North Chadderton School to Great National Hotels HQ. The students are part of the Young Enterprise Programme which enables them to experience what it’s like to set up and run a student company.

Students were given a show around the company; students visited each department and were given a snap shot of what happens behind the scenes. This gave students the opportunity to ask questions and see some of the software that we use daily.

Students and Teachers were then given some tips and advice by Management to help with setting up their company, Better Day.

Since, then we have been in touch with the students and they have won the Oldham Finals. They are now heading to the Manchester Finals! Best of Luck!

North Chadderton School Visits Great National Hotels HQ

In February, we welcomed Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology students studying BB in Hotel Management & BA in International Hotel Management to HQ for an overview on how we operate. Brian Morrissey, Lecturer, was delighted with the welcome his students received, he emailed us with this kind words.

“Honestly, I do not know where to begin to say thank you. Firstly, for the correspondence over the past number of weeks, leading up to our trip to you yesterday afternoon. I found it difficult to get to class today. Constantly stopped by lecturers and students alike expressing their gratitude for being part of yesterday. Students were blown away by the extent to which you both, and the team embraced their presence.

We were fortunate to meet many wonderful speakers during the day, who inspired the students, ignited their aspirations, enlightened their goals. In this ever-challenging industry we need to guide our youth to help drive the future, to love our industry, as we witnessed at Great National Hotels HQ. But moreover, to realise it is an orchard of opportunities, flexibility, and gratification. Your time today has fuelled this.

Website Launches

The Digital Team have been very busy, the team are currently building a number of websites. This quarter, we are delighted to announce that we have launched two websites, the Green Isle Hotel and Shannon Springs Hotel. With a fresh look and feel and intuitive design, each website is designed with the customer in mind.

The 4 Star Green Isle Hotel is located just off the N7 Naas Road in Clondalkin, Dublin. As one of the top hotels at the gateway of Dublin. The warm, comfortable and family-friendly hotel offers luxurious and spacious hotel bedrooms ranging from standard rooms, double rooms to rooms that cater to large groups, as well as families. It has 8 conference rooms and 40 boardrooms. Experience the hotel’s new self-check-in kiosks and enjoy a delicious meal at The Green Isle bar and bistro, with fantastic live entertainment every weekend.
